Life and death. That's life. I wish I could see your big belly. Or feel the baby kicking. Or something. Sometimes I want a baby. To be a father. But then I know I am nowhere near ready. Also there's the whole business of there being a mother, which I hear is crucial. It's still a sweet thought, though. Something I can keep locked away in my brain down there where the hope of a normal life lies. I feel like a Disney movie.

first, yay! a baby!
now, to answer your comment, i understand your point of view. completely. which is why, i rarely smoke around non-smokers, even in my own house or my own car. what got to me was, there was this huge debate on whether the person writing the diary should have said something to the pregnant woman they saw smoking. and there were interesting points made for and against saying anything, but one person had nothing more insightful to say than "smokers and their nasty habit suck." and that was what brought about my entry. and to answer your other question, in the city i live in, smoking is banned in all public buildings, including restaurants and bars.
